Newborn
Your child's newborn portraits mark the beginning of their legacy. It is so important to document this time in their life. It is so much more fleeting than you may realize, and they change SO much in just the first few weeks! I always urge parents to be in these photos, and we offer hair and makeup services for Mom, right in the studio!
My newborn sessions are sweet, simple, and timeless. l prefer using minimal props and soft colors, to keep the entire focus on the baby.
Newborn sessions should be scheduled before the baby is born, to ensure availability. The studio can only accommodate 4 due dates per month. Newborns are best photographed in the first two weeks after birth, so it is important to schedule a consultation and book your due date before baby is born (if your baby is already born, we can discuss availability and options).

Pricing
$200 Booking Fee (applied to final package)
About 10 days after your shoot, your final 25 images will be professionally retouched, printed, and displayed for you to make your selection from.
Portraits begin at $200 (on the wall). Heirloom collections begin at $750, with most clients investing about $1200 on portraits, albums, and/or digital files.
"All Wrapped Up" Sessions - $500
These are sweet and short sessions, and include 2 setups with baby only. 10 final downloadable images are included, with the option to add portraits, wall art, etc.

FAQ's
When should I book a newborn session?
We can only accommodate 4 due dates per month, to ensure availability (babies arrive on their own time), so it is important to book your newborn session as early as possible during your pregnancy.
We will record your due date, and as soon as baby is here, we will schedule a date for the session at around two weeks of age. Newborns are best photographed before reaching 1 month of age. Sessions are booked at 10am on Mondays & Tuesdays.
If your baby is already born, don't hesitate to call! We often have last minute availability!
What is the cost of a newborn session?
A session retainer of $250 is collected at the time of booking, and includes the photo shoot, professional hair and makeup (or $150 portrait credit). Portraits & digital files are purchased separately at the ordering appointment 1 week later.
Portraits begin at $200 (on the wall), and our heirloom portrait collections start at $750. Clients spend on average $1200 on their final collections, which include digital copies of all portraits.
What do I need to bring?
We have everything you will need for the session, but if there are any special items you would like photographed, we will do our best to include them! Before your shoot, you will receive a detailed prep guide, which we will also discuss during your consultation.
Do you offer mini sessions?
Although I always encourage the whole family (especially mom) to get involved, sometimes, a quick sweet session of JUST baby is all you want! We do offer a shorter version of a full portrait shoot, which lasts about 1 hour (as opposed to 2.5) and includes 2-3 set-ups with baby only. Products and portraits will be available at the ordering appointment.
Where will the session take place?
Typically, these sessions will take place in my Denton studio, but an in-home session is available as well. If you opt to be at home, we will capture some photos of you and your loved ones in your own environment, as well as some studio-like photos with my portable studio setup.
