Fairytale session, with little red riding hood!

Updated: Nov 21, 2020

This session was so much fun! In early April, I had an idea. I wanted to create fun, unique, and artistic creations of a series of sessions, based on well-known characters or stories. My first thought was, of course, Little Red Riding Hood! The story is sweet, as well as dark and eerie. Which is a perfect combination for what I wanted to create. So I designed and sewed my own outfit, found the cutest little basket and props, and narrowed down a perfect location. The location was a random field of trees, a bit overgrown, and looked like a scene from the story- perfect! My sweet friend, Taylor, was the most amazing model. She is beautiful, and has the perfect amount of sassiness to her personality. It's hard to explain, but she was just so fitting for what I was looking for! Check out our behind-the scenes photos (taken by my sweet daughter, Sydney), and my final images below.

I would have never gotten this amazing shot without my sweet assistant, Sydney (my daughter, who is eagerly learning to shoot in manual mode on her camera). I loved the way the cape flowed in both photos, so I composited them together in photoshop, to make the look more dramatic. SO FUN!

This girl is so gorgeous.
