Happy Spring! I am staying positive and trying to see the tiny light at the end of the tunnel. This isolation thing can’t last forever, right? What a strange reality we are living in. I am looking forward to normal life again. Going to my favorite coffee shops, restaurants, seeing our friends, working with clients, shopping around town.... it’s so strange that those things have suddenly become a thing of the past. But this will pass. And when it does, I will be supporting my favorite local businesses, right on the square!
One of my favorite shops in Denton is the Denton Trading Company. This adorable boutique gift shop just happens to be located a few doors down from the studio! Right before the pandemic hit, I visited the shop (for the ten thousandth time) and took a few pictures. I come to DTC regularly, and I ALWAYS find something new and unique that I didn’t see before. They sell an array of unique items, including handmade jewelry (made by local artists), super stylish furniture and decor, children’s gifts, seasonal decor, and so much more. Everything in this sweet shop is handpicked and unique. I highly recommend checking out this shop! I love this place so much, that you will definitely recognize some of the items in the studio!
I love using fresh flowers for my photo shoots. But they don’t last and I’m always making a run to the florist ahead of time, and I haven’t been able to use fake flowers because they aren’t realistic enough. But These are SO realistic, it’s a no-brainer. I am definitely using these in the studio!
The flowers are so pretty!
I HAD to buy a set of these super cute salt & pepper shakers!
They even have a section of things for your furry friends! I have never seen anything like this! A little imprint of your doggies nose! How cute!!
ALL the candles. I think I spent 10 minutes smelling them all.
I absolutely love their style of decor! So modern and unique.
You will see these cute chairs at the studio!
Do you see me in that big golden cherry??
So many pennies!
My kids LOVE these books. This series of books features influential people in history.
Thank you for sticking around until the end! Be sure to visit DTC when you come to Denton! They are located on Oak street, right next to West Oak Coffee!! There is a second store location in Roanoke!
