A Personal Post... From Your Photographer

Updated: Nov 3, 2022

“I want to celebrate me for a change. I want to have the same experience I give my clients. I want to celebrate and re-discover the evolving woman in me, the one that has somewhat gotten overlooked as I tend to put other things first. I graciously pour so much into my children and work, into my healing and growth; and it's time to see myself reflected back in portraits to represent this journey of growth and strength."

-Me

The best thing I did during the hardest year of my life was to have photos done for myself, when I really needed to re-connect with myself. A time when I didn't even want to look in the mirror, when I let my hair grow out too long, my eyes were usually puffy from crying and I just didn't feel like myself after so much trauma and loss all at once. That's when I booked a shoot, scheduled hair and nails, pampered myself, and lifted myself back up to see a stronger, more resilient person reflected back.

I encourage you to do the same. It's powerful, and can change the way you see yourself. We all go through hard seasons, and it's these moments when we need to be kind to ourselves, and give ourselves grace in these times. No matter your age or the season you're in, and no matter how many extra pounds you think you have... Just do it, and trust me! My team and I will make you feel amazing.
